I have almost no experience with the M35/f2.8, except that a lot of such lenses on the market do have a sticky aperture. The K35/f3.5 is indeed very very sharp, but f3.5 is a little bit slow sometimes. The only comment that I can give on the K35/f2 so far is, that it is an extremely beautiful lens.

I also have SMC K28/3.5, M35/2.8, SMC K105/2.8 AND SMC K135/2.5, not bad gear I think. I have read that SMC K35/3.5 or 2.0 is much better than M35/2.8 lens. have any opinion? Alek

SMC K35/3.5 or 2.0 much better than M35/2.8? Maybe not. In a european review of a bunch of 35/2.8 (I have not kept the reference for that one) the M35/2.8 was first, and the Zeiss a close second.

All three lenses are excellent (I've tried all of them). K35/3.5 has no flare at all, even with hot spots in front of you.

M35/2.8 blades have to be cleaned and then an "oil barrier" have to be applied or the oily blades will come back.
