Did you try... frodo.domain.tld as well ?

If I'm at 
'DNS Admin >> 8.0.0.0.0.0.0.2.8.9.8.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa >> Add record'

I fill out '1.6.1.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0' for Name,
'PTR' for Type,
and 'tinky.domain.tld' as Content.


Then it successfully created a record for 2001:898:2000:8::161
