Hello, all. It's great to see flourishing LUGs in the portland area. My wife and I will be moving to Portland in July (for her subsequent attendance of graduate school), at which time I would very much like to meet you all. I'm a talented and enthusastic programmer and linux user, and I try to surround myself with similarly excited people. I am the unofficial founder of a very small and informal linux user group called the Classic City Computer Partnership which is an offshoot of the primary LUG in town. Coincidentally, I had some of the very same reasons for wanting to have a smaller group as those that are mentioned on the PDXLUG site.
http://cccp.cprogrammer.org/ I have already begun a job search in the Portland and Vancouver, WA area. Do any of you have any suggestions or tips? If any of you would like to see my resume, it can be found at http://www.cprogrammer.org/pub/resume.pdf I've heard various things about the job climate in portland, but I'd rather hear it from the horse's mouth. Thanks in advance for any and all information! -- Jonathan Daugherty http://www.cprogrammer.org "It's a book about a Spanish guy called Manual, you should read it." -- Dilbert _______________________________________________ PDXLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pdxlug.org/mailman/listinfo/pdxlug
