Heh. I figured there would be at least a few responses like this. My experience with the portland job market from afar (Georgia) has left me feeling the same way, but that's just one person's perception.
Portland is fine.
People just have a hard time finding jobs that they aren't qualified for all of a sudden. Its not a bad thing. Its good.
If you are one with clue, you'll do fine. Knowing people helps a lot as well.
