Jonathan, Not sure if your office is alreayd air conditioned or not...
I'm working out of my home--no AC. On days where it's 80 degrees out, my office used to get EXTREMELY uncomfortable--both due to the heat, AND due to how dry the air got. I sucked it up and bought an Air Conditioner this past weekend. Life is MUCH more comfortable now. I have 5 computers running--2 desktops, 3 servers. Hope this helps, Kevin Williams -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jonathan Daugherty Sent: Monday, June 07, 2004 2:47 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PDXLUG] Cooling I'm going through old crap to decide what to sell or get rid of. I have a window air conditioner unit, and I can't decide whether to bring it to portland when I move; around here in jaw-juh it gets really hot, but I'm not familiar with the climate up there, particularly as it pertains to offices with 3 - 5 machines and the heat they produce. What do you guys recommend? Would it be good to have a window unit in an office with heat-producing machines, or should I dump it while I'm here? -- Jonathan Daugherty http://www.cprogrammer.org _______________________________________________ PDXLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pdxlug.org/mailman/listinfo/pdxlug _______________________________________________ PDXLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pdxlug.org/mailman/listinfo/pdxlug
