I tried it last week out of desperation. Never got it working. So I could
have FastCGI problems in general. Witness my post about how I can't even
get "ruby dispatch.fcgi" to work from the command line. And even if I did
I'd be in a situation where I'd have to recompile PHP and some other
related libraries for fastcgi. Not ideal on a box where I try to do most
things via RPM (one of the main reason I use a RHEL rebuild, so I don't
have to worry as much about patches, etc.)
