It would be great if you could simply dump the raw SVG graphs for
exposure in canvas elements.

I just went through the directions for installing RMagick on OS X at
hivelogic.com[1], and they seem to have worked properly (although
gruff, for example, took two tries to install even after all that).
No help on Linux, though -- Linux is why I bought my Mac in the first
place.  (=
