There doesn't seem to be much of an organized Ruby presence in Sacramento (all I could find was 4 people on meetup), but perhaps one of you fine folks knows a good Rails developer -- or even someone who'd be able to learn Rails quickly -- looking for a contract gig?
I've been working part-time on a Rails app while in school. However, I'll be graduating this summer, I'm tired of working alone, and I'm none too keen on living in Sacramento ever again. All of which means I'll need to hand off support and maintenance (S&M?) for this app so I can re-enter the job market unencumbered. Forwardees: The app is a timecard entry system for our tutors, with some billing features and map integration planned. VB/VBA and MS Access experience are also quite helpful, as the existing reports are in Access and the maps will likely come from MapPoint.
