I'm Thomas Hruska and for the past couple of days (when I've had time),
I've been cranking out a brand new PHP extension called 'sync'. It is
located over here:

Two of the nicest features of the 'sync' extension are "named"
synchronization objects (i.e. named mutexes, semaphores, event objects,
and reader-writer locks) and identical support for both *NIX and Windows
hosts so that the same userland code works everywhere.
I think I'm ready for a preliminary code review for PECL inclusion.
I've been looking over the various documents on the account request page
and I see a few potential issues, but I'd like feedback at this point
for guidance/pointers/tips specific to actions I actually need to take
vs. nice-to-haves before applying for a PECL account.
