Subject: [PEDA] PRinter Problems

Hi all,

I am at my wits end, I can not print any Protel 99SE schematics to a
printer, correctly.

When I print, all the components come out fine, as do the lines, and
symbols, but all the TEXT is upside down and back to front !!!!!

I have tracked the fault down to the fact I run a Brother HL 1440
printer, I have tried the latest drivers for WIN XP, but to no help.

If I delete this printer and just use the Brother MFC 3820CN all is
fine, but the laser is cheaper to run than the MFC inkjet (I am assuming
as I have not yet had to replace the black intank)

Any ideas ?????

System:

Athlon +2700xp, 1Gb ram, 200Gb HDD (less than 1% used) ATI Radeon 9200SE
video, clean install of Win XP SP1 with latest hot fixes etc (not SP2 as
that killed it last time :( (does not like my USB chip set on the ASUS
MB I am running)

Regards,

Kat.
