Subject: [PEDA] Dual LCD Monitor support with PCI express
Hi All,
Has anyone tried using a pair of the new PCI Express Graphics cards to drive a DVI port each? Any advice for young players...
( Keep to Matrox Luke... Keep to Matrox Luke...;- )
Keep to Matrox ;-)
Certainly I would not berate the G550/G400/G200/G100/PCI Milleniums I have used historically, in fact I think the G400/PCI Millenium with mem add on was the most stable I had, after the G550 I was not so happy.
The reason I looked at the 2 x PCIex graphics cards was that two Gigabyte / NVidia 6200 PCIex single DVI port cards cost less than the one Matrox card. Question is what the grief tax will be on the purchase when Prottle barfs on the drivers and how happily WinXP makes them play together.
Cheers
Don
