        I don't think this is the issue. Some of the successfully compiled 
parts have longer names than those showing this problem. Some exhibiting the 
problem are amongst the shorter part names within the libraries.
        Guess I will post it to the DXP forum and see what those there have to 
suggest.

This rings a bell - are your misbehaving component names being truncated by 
any chance?  I seem to remember a problem with long part names getting 
characters dropped, and that confuses the compiler.  I may not be recalling 
the circumstances correctly, but I remember an issue with the length of the 
component name field at some point.
