Jeff it's not too hard to use.
My company uses it every time we do a board.
Just got report, "bom of materials"
On the next screen click on the info you want exported to the bom, libary
fields, footprint, description and so on.
Then hit Next 3 times.
Then select the format you want the bom in,... we use CSV for importing into
excel
Then hit finished.
That's it.

OK, I could find nothing in the manual or online help, but I found an entry 
under a report menu by going systematically through each menu option.  I'll
