Nothing being said here that I haven't said directly to the Altium rep
myself in the past week. If they are playing individual pricing games then this
is our arena to shake that out of the trees to our benefit. Not the case it
seems.
The free exchange of true information is not a negative phenomena. This
list is independent and that is one benefit over the DXP Forum, it is our forum
(or Techserves) and Altium can't censor the content. We know that they monitor
it, sometimes we write our messages appropriately even though they are not
visible participants.
As for the pricing, it was presented to me as a standard Altium policy
pricing. If they are playing games then that is their misrepresentation and on
their heads.

You need to express your concerns 1-on-1, not publicly like this....
Software EDA has become so competitive that everyone gets a unique price
which they are asked NOT to reveal to anyone......
I experienced this with 2 EDA vendors directly......
