I hope someone can help me as this problem has caused all work on this project to grid to a halt until a solution can be found. I have been using 98 and 98se for years now with no major problems until the other week opening up a project I had been working on the day before, I got the following error:- Access violation at address 0c5F9486 in module 'ADVPCB.DLL'. Read of address 0000000F. when trying to open the pcb. All the schematics and other design file seem to open ok. I found my last backup which was ok and reworked the latest mods to get back to the final layout, saved the design and the same thing happened;- The next day I got the same error and the same problem. I've hunted around the web and discovered that others have had this problem. I have tried the following so far:- (non of which has worked) 1) Totally uninstalling service pack 6 and then 99se. Deleting all 99se folders, etc. Re - installing everything. 2) Removing all printers. 3) Renaming the CLIENT99SE.rcs file. I've no run out of things to try. Any help will be most welcome.
