That workshop was in 2014, and I summarized what I remembered. One point they mentioned is that the Peirce MSS are so fragile that they would not let them outside their facility. Another point I recall is that the copies of the microfiche copies are such poor quality that it would be better to scan everything rather than sort through to see which MSS should be scanned first. This is really the last chance to scan all the MSS before they crumble into dust. The Harvard libraries have excellent scanning tools, but they have a huge backlog of material that needs to be scanned. I get the impression that additional funding would help them hire more people to do the scanning. But I don't know the current status. I'll ask some people who were there and see if can get more information. John
