That's good. My only point is that there are two distinct questions, and it's important to be clear about which one is being discussed: 1. What is a triad in Peirce's logic? 2. What does a tried represent in any particular application? Peirce's philosophy would include his logic as well as many applications of logic, especially semeiotic. That's all I wanted to say. John
