You forgot Canada Naomi's original stomping ground. We have a right wing minority government and a Liberal opposition that is totally gutless and ineffectual. What makes you think the sun is setting on the right. The sun seems to have set on the left some time ago. Do you really think that a victory for Obama would be a victory for the left? At most it would be a victory for establishment Liberals and preferable to a McCain victory. But as far as foreign policy is concerned and military spending it will be more of the same with a different voice perhaps.
