Does he though? didn't the 2006 elections do a lot of damage to his reputation? Ex that, his track record appears to be 2000, which was a marginal victory at best, plus a khaki election in 2005, which he still nearly lost. Does he have anything really good in the public domain?
I don't mean as a strategist, though electing George W is no minor achievement. I mean as an analyst. The guy knows his districts and demographics. Ditto the other geek on Fox, Michael Barone. Another reactionary, but he's a walking database. They're about 50 times better than anything on CNN.
