Google instead for "Vedic Science" or "Meera Nanda". There is an
entire cottage industry
of academic second-raters whose ticket to credibility and perhaps
tenure is pomo bashing. Meera Nanda steps up to this task when it
comes to Indian pomo! ;-) (which is not to say that there aren't
things worthy of criticism in pomo or "vedic science").
Amartya Sen (unsurprisingly) has offered criticism similar to yours
above, of a Eurocentric view of science and/or rationality.
