What makes Blackburn's brand of Euro-centrism especially pathetic is that it is so unnecessary. It is after all universally acknowledged - including by post-modernists - that Enlightenment thought and most of the intellectual and technological breakthroughs that resulted from it, originated in Europe. This is like mocking an "European version of the pyramids" by comparing it to the Egyptian. -raghu. -- "I have a heart of a child... in a jar on my desk." - Stephen King _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
