After everything I heard from Charles and Jim, do you now realize why I promote a Post-Keynesian Party in the US? Not that I think it is the solution, but I think it may be a beginning. You see, I have no interest in starting another "socialist" party in Turkey, because I know for sure that it won't work. It is too early (or is it too late?) for that at the moment. I may even go for a Smithian party, as Michael said would be revolutionary given the current state of affairs in the US.
Be realistic my friends: in Venezuela, Socialism for the 21st Century may be an option, but I don't think it is an option in the US, nor in Turkey, at the current time. What the heck are we supposed to do: just sit and wait for a mass mobilization? Do the current Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates sit and wait for such a thing?
