Black leadership != Black Americans. No?
No, but I wasn't talking about the people that the dominant society nominates as black leaders - what Adolph Reed calls the race management elite. I was talking about the vast majority of progressive activists and regular people. The atmosphere in my neighborhood, Fort Greene/Clinton Hill in Brooklyn, which is about 70% black, is electric. It's moving. I wonder if the Commissar of the Cornfields would be similarly moved if he were transported here, or if he would tell them about the efficient murder of Afghans.
