I think you verify my own experience. There is a stirring of mass
sentiments in the population. This feeling amongst African Americans
is shared by many caucasians and asians.
All tied to as you say to the reformist glow of Obama. They won't
respond well to austerity programs. I think Obama must come through
with substantial reforms or this support will wilt and turn away from
Obama fairly quickly.
