You make it sound like the government of the U.S. chooses between Michael Perelman and Ben Bernanke as if it was someone at a Chinese restaurant trying to decide between Beef with Broccoli and Mooshoo Pork. I don't think that Michael Perelman was on the menu. In fact, not even somebody like Paul Krugman was.
