In 1996, I was trying to get used to this country, pinching pennies to buy subway tokens, struggling with the English language, so you think I was going to buy Krugman's book? However, I've been paying some attention to what happened in national politics and the New York Times in the last ten years. And I bet 10 to 1 that undermining Krugman is huge in the minds of low lives like Kristol, Brooks, Friedman, and Kristof. Having said that, I'm nowhere near claiming that there should be a statute of limitations on crimes of lessa economic theory! If in his book, Krugman claimed something so ridiculous that cannot be redeemed by all he's written in the last 10 years, including his staunch opposition to Bush, the invasion of Iraq, etc., then he should definitely be executed by lethal injection. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
