An imprisoned enemy combatant is a prisoner of war in the most literal and obvious sense of the words "imprisoned," "enemy," and "combatant." Their detention and questioning are regulated by Geneva Conventions on the treatment of prisoners of war. So what possible function can there be for an "interagency task force," except to recommend a way for Obama to continue violating the Geneva Conventions in a less blatantly brutal way--while keeping the prison in stolen Guantanamo open for perhaps another year?
