It's perfect for Obama. He can pretend to support it while letting it
die in the Senate, or evolve into something so toothless that it's as
good as dead. Then Charles & Co. will be satisfied, unions will
continue to write checks to the Dems, and capital need not be troubled
by an upsurge in union organizing. The only mystery is why people keep
falling for this nonsense over & over again.
