I heard Norman Finkelstein last night. Little Chico does not have a strong organized Zionest pressure group. Although he was cancelled at Clark & UC Davis claimed they could not find a room for him, Chico let him come & speak to a standing room only crowd in our 2d largest auditorium. He spoke for an hour & a half -- too long, the students became restive, but many stayed for the questions. He only took questions from people who disagreed with them. A couple of our faculty embarassed themselves. Anyway, I was proud of our campus. On Behalf Of ravi: if Obama does indeed mete out the much advertised dressing down to Israel, even if it is only symbolic, I'd be happy.
