Hey, I'm not defending the criminalization of what he did. I'm exploring the political economy of why what he did is a crime. Under the delightful system we live in, Goldman has the right to call software developed by its employees or contractors its property. Taking money or property from those less rich or powerful than you isn't typically a crime; it's normal operating procedure.
