I did not know it was a book. Books are not peer reviewed, as the term is
usually understood. The publisher will send the ms. out to readers
 -- sometime suggested by the author.

Publishers get reviewers to tell them about the market for the book,
and occasionally to warn them about the potential for liable.
A book that purports to be peer reviewed would be suspicious on its face.
