David, your question is both difficult and easy. It is difficult because science, even when it is unified, is fallible, as people like Galileo and Bruno discovered to their peril. Yet, when something I drop falls to the ground, I suspect gravity is at work. I also believe in evolution though I will never be able to satisfy a believer in intelligent design.
Your question is also easy, in the sense that we have little choice but to dismiss quacks and rely on scientists. We can be sure that they have some of the specifics of global warming wrong, just as Newton did. -- Michael Perelman Economics Department California State University Chico, CA 95929 Tel. 530-898-5321 E-Mail michael at ecst.csuchico.edu michaelperelman.wordpress.com _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
