Sort of like how Bush, et. al. claimed, post facto, that they just didn't know how bad their intelligence was on Iraq. Why is that supposed to inspire confidence or recuse them from blame? Likewise, I like the idea that a company should be recused of blame if they are building a car for the "common man"--a common man who, evidently, wouldn't be willing to drop an extra ten-spot to keep his car from blowing up.
