I suppose that is true, in the same sense I have no idea what is going on in my
kid's room when the door is closed, but so what? Doesn't mean the parents
aren't good judges of what schools to send their kids. We make all kinds of
decisions with limited information. I just bought a new car. I am sure if you
analyzed my decision-making, you would be astounded at the nonrationality of
the process, including my lack of knowledge how the car works. Should we set
up a system where the car manufacturers and car salesmen, who know much more
than me about cars, get to tell me which car I get to drive?

Besides, what is the policy implication? Socialist elitism instead of
socialist democracy? Removal of children from their parents' households, so
they can be raised by professionally trained governesses?

BTW, who are "people like you?"
