Marv argues that I assume "erroneously that classes, including the dominant one, are politically monolithic." Either Marv has never been able to read my posts or this is a simple lie. Of course classes are not monolithic. But that in itself tells us NOTHING. Marv simply imposes his own antique categories on the U.S. rather than making any attempt whatever to analyze the nature of the divisions within the U.S. ruling class and the reverberations of those divisions in u.s. politics.
