I invite you to listen to -- or else find a subsequent report for -- the
Toronto Hearings of September 8-11, 2011. Attempt to find JUST ONE
WITNESS who states your interpretation.
For the record, your statement is
"9/11 was a Bush/Cheney set up" = "the Truther theory"
Maybe someone in Chico has that theory but it is not representative.
There are many beliefs out there, including that Osama bin Laden did it
even though he was never on the FBI most wanted list for 9/11. Even if
that were a majority opinion in the United States of America, since when
are we marxists afraid of being in a minority?
You can be assured that, in Toronto, Senator Mike Gravel of Pentagon
Papers' fame will NOT make such a claim you seem to ascribe to him
personally. (Do you want his phone number? I'll send it to you
privately, if requested.)
Leaders of the movement to confront 9/11 in all its horror more commonly
say something like: "We don't know who executed 9/11 but we want an
truly independent process of discovery to be initiated".

Most us us think that that theory is unlikely to be true, but we will
probably have enough information to know the full story.
Consequently, the Truther theory is irrefutable, but not necessarily
true.
