I am at a loss to understand at how Leftists/Marxists can look at the history of Apple and then deny that wealth creation is ultimately the product of the vision, drive and willpower of individual entrepeneurs and instead attribute wealth creation to the labor of the other 99%, or deny that wealth creation is dependent on social structures that enable the Jobs of the world to pursue their vision as opposed to hindering them. > > David Shemano
----------- It's easy, if you have tried to reproduce a vision of a better world and failed. Try it yourself and see what happens. I'll explain. Some asshole above you steals all your work, pays you nothing and takes credit as he moves up the ladder. Finally, a CEO appropriates that work and claims to it. Innovation from an illiterate jerk with nothing else but position. The whole computer and software industry is full of this farce. Think about it. Steve Jobs visits marketing and sorts through the designs and picks one. Viola. He piddles around with some application and likes it, viola. He looks through various package designs and humms. Looks good, viola. This is very old work. We look at King Tut's mask: http://www.king-tut.org.uk/images/mask-of-king-tut.jpg We believe anything so beautiful must be Tut. It isn't. The king hired somebody or some shop to make this mask. It became identified with his essence, which was just propaganda. The artists who designed and made this mask are unknown.
