Recently, Chuck and Joanna were referring to Trotsky's writings.  I
just thought that two works that are less often referred to in the
context are those by Milovan Djilas, both his Stalin Conversations and
his Tito.  The former provides much insight into Stalin's personality.
 It's all first hand stuff.  One has to (of course) discount the
self-serving nature of all memoirs.  Djilas' works deserve to be
included in the Marxist Archives.
