I rather think the burden of proof here is on the person making the
affirmative claim that "self-interest" is aligned with "class solidarity"
where the two concepts are defined coherently without
a tautological reference to each other.

You clearly have a philosophical notion of "self-interest" in mind. Why
don't you share it with us? Somehow I suspect that you will evade this one
as well.
