It's an uninformed smear to claim that the support for Hagel was based
merely on the fact that Obama nominated him.

Council for a Livable World: supported Hagel, not Brennan.
Ploughshares: supported Hagel, not Brennan.
Just Foreign Policy: supported Hagel, not Brennan.
J Street: supported Hagel, not Brennan
Americans for Peace Now: supported Hagel, not Brennan.
Friends Committee on National Legislation: supported Hagel, not Brennan.
Jewish Voice for Peace: supported Hagel, not Brennan.

It's a shame that the interest level in truth of much of the
ideological left is about at the same level as that of the Weekly
Standard and the National Enquirer.
