Me too. There *is* no Social Security trust fund. 
It's an accountant's fiction. The Gummint takes 
is so much every year, and spends so much every year, 
and covers the difference by creating money.

So the only interesting questions are (in descending
order of importance): 

1) What is the money spent on? (Wars, pensions, highways, etc.)
2) Where does it come from? (Taxes, of course. On whom? And at what 
level?)
3) How much money do we have to create, and at what level does that 
become a problem? (It's very far from being a problem now.)
