US public opinion is one big monolithic bloc? Sure there's a hardcore that doesn't give a shit - and probably even a harder core that's happy to see hundreds of thousands of Iraqis die - but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people who just don't know, because it's been effectively kept from them. Aren't you bloggers supposed to be circumventing the media filters?
