never mind. I got in. The problem with a blog is that stuff that ought to be preserved gets old and disappears into archives. I think a PEN-L blog with a bunch of PEN-L authors , if this is what you had in mind, would be a good thing. But the value-added may be in a wiki that can be an archive for stuff found all over the web. People post documents here as it is, but they get lost in the archives. A wiki would be a way to organize and make easily accessible a lot of material that people routinely gather and post links to here. The idea of an online encyclopedia from the PEN-L multitudes is interesting to me. It allows people to contribute who don't have the time or inclination to set up their own web sites.
I started to try and do this on my own site.
