I think it looks pretty cool. I will sign up. Do we have any sort of set
of guidelines about what sort of thing is ontopic for it?

I would like to offer my support to the wiki idea too but they are a hell of
a lot of work if you want to do them properly. I have made contributions to
a few wikipedia entries on esoteric points of statistics and so on and it's
not easy.

i included that info in my last post.

for entering the web site, use:

username = pen-l
password = nopass

once you are in, you can sign-in into the blog using either the
pre-existing user 'pen-l' (password 'nopass'), or click on the
'register' button and create a new user for yourself. links for both
actions can be found in the "login" section in the right bar.

as noted, along with email support, i can provide live help ;-), in any
of the chat networks:

yahoo: rationalfool
googletalk: ravinsarma
msn: ravinsarma
aol/aim: ravinsarma
