I am with Michael here.  Surely it is the whole point of abstracts to allow
one to make exactly this sort of triage?

Not really.  I did not say that it was right or wrong, just not surprising;

suggested some factors that might account for the result.  I cannot keep up
with my
present backlog of reading, so I am unlikely to go into a paper that does
