Actually, I loved Mad Max, and the Road Warrior-- great apocalypso
cartoons.  Loved the Interceptor too.

But then I love most movies that are extended metaphors for urban decay:
Dawn of the Dead, Alien, Wolfen... once I wanted to organize and urban
decay film festival.
