That's the way it is currently, and as far as I can tell, in the current milleau, any change, INCLUDING allowing file sharing, would only benefit the record companies and publishers further. The goal should be getting rid of 'The sharks in suits', not copyright laws. Common sense says that would only screw more musicians over. Indy music publishers and Creative Commons licensing should be supported, not the big...
