Doyle;
Capitalism pushes things forward with profit as the price of
development. Profit will distort industries, but there is something
else about network structures, they are community processes not
individual processes. They re-define the meaning of community as it
is quite clear in the current clashes over intellectual property. A
socialist can use massive server farms to provide community
information in a way that capitalist can't. It's the international
global community part of file sharing that needs to be developed.
thanks,
Doyle Saylor
