Hi...

u might want to try out mysql as ur backend if ur database is not more that
millionss.....maybe billions..

althrough pgsql support some advanmde feature like rollback, commit and
transactions...
but sped wise mysql is better....and mysql with php is a dynamic dual on
dynamic content for web page now a days.....

if u wanna a full features sql server....u can try out oracle as well...
but the resources require to run oracle is much more that pg and mysql...
