Today, more than 60% Malaysia company still using pirated software. As the
biggest PC software provider company, Micosoft software are the No.1 being
pirated.
What is the impact of Microsoft case settlement to Malaysia?
- How its the case influence Malaysia economy and politics?
- Impact on MSC, e.g. Smartschool project that Pro-Microsoft?
- Impact on private company that "standised" software
development/application on Microsoft?
- Impact on Linux/Open Source movement in Malaysia?
- Impact on Malaysia software piracay ?
None of this have ever been discuss on today The Star Intech, except a
brief introduction that relate MSC to Microsoft.
Nevertheless, I am not aspecting any Malaysia newspaper border/allowed/ to
discover/discuss such issue in-dept.
In my opinion, Linux/Open Source movement will benefit directly from this
case. Since Malaysia going to involve heavily in IT development in the next
decade, as a Malaysian and Linux user, what do you think about Microsoft
case?
